This adorable family was so fun to work with! Most of my family sessions involve very young children - one-two year olds - so I was so excited to work with this "big" guy who was seven! He was an awesome model for me, and helped coach his little sis for the camera too. We had really gorgeous low light, and a surprisingly balmy November day. It was a super fun session and I love the images we created together!
I LOVE when my newborns come back to see me as they "grow up"! This little muffin was just as content as a newborn as she was for her one year session, and is such a pleasure to photograph. She truly is a Gerber baby with her adorable smile and huge, bright eyes, and she was a massive ham for the camera, truly loving to pose for me. Mommy and daddy are madly in love with her too, and I think you can see that in these images. I'm so happy to have worked with this beautiful family again, and can't wait to watch her "grow up" some more!
I get to see this beautiful family every year at this time. I met them when Hudson was a baby bump and photographed their maternity session. I've photographed their wedding, and two family sessions since, and it is so nice to have clients who loyally return! It's so lovely working with these guys because I know their vibe and their personalities, and it makes for a truly wonderful session, and awesome images too! I can't wait to see them again next year!
I love the fall season! I love wearing my boots, my scarves, pumpkins in general, and I definitely bring out the fall scented candles and make my house smell like Bath and Body Works.
I love the leaves too, but not nearly as much as this little guy did! Seriously, he LOVED them. He held onto a leaf pretty much at all times during our session, and was fascinated by it twirling around in his tiny fingers. And throwing them around in the air was just magical to him!
He was such a sweetheart, so happy to play and have his photo taken, and his parents were super doting on him, and happy to throw some leaves around too. Erika and Chris are such a lovely couple, and I absolutely loved this session!
This little girl was one of my best sleepers EVER! She was so peaceful, and barely even made a peep. She was also full of teeny grins, and I caught quite a few of them, much to her mommy's delight!
Something I absolutely adored about our session together, was that big sis came to get her photos done with her brand new baby sister - she was so gentle with her, and snuggled right up to her for her shots. Plus, she has amazing eyes that just lit up when little Nora held on to her finger. These two sisters seem to be amazing friends already, which I think shines through in every photo of them together.
